Holt Webb was born in Atlanta, Georgia and currently lives in San Diego, California. In addition to creating Fine Art Photographs, Holt also teaches photography to tour groups around the country and abroad.
Holt has worked as a graphic designer, freelance artist, commercial photographer and wedding photographer, working in both film and digital, 35mm and Medium Format. But it’s only recently that he gave up shooting for others and focused on shooting for himself. Since that change, he’s found that he’s more relaxed, happier, and enjoying his work again.
“Taking pictures that I want to take has helped me rediscover those old feelings I felt when I was a kid shooting with my Kodak 110 – those feelings of excitement and discovery, and the exhilaration you get when you’ve created something amazing. It’s a passionate endeavor, and photography is my passion.”
